Dr. Paris Andrews

Dr. Paris Andrew is the Director of Health Careers, Workforce Diversity, and Inclusion at NC AHEC, where she leads efforts to recruit, train, and retain diverse K-12 and collegiate scholars underrepresented in health professions. She oversees statewide programs, including the NC AHEC Scholars Program, to promote workforce diversity. Paris’s expertise includes conducting equity audits, leading DEI initiatives, advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights, and advising organizations on equity-centered community engagement. Her research focuses on the sociocultural experiences of high-achieving students of color in academic programs. Paris joined NC AHEC in May 2021.
